WorldWinner has banners for their mobile app, website, social media platforms, and player emails. In addition to the four seasons, we take advantage of holidays and special offers to create unique and fun designs to delight our players.

Role:
Marketing designer at WorldWinner.

Tools:
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Stock, Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams.

Deliverables:
Banners for web, email, social, video, PPT/Google Slides, app, etc.

Email & Web

Before starting any designs for WorldWinner, our choices must carry the themes of competition and fun. Most importantly, marketing assets should mimic the games within the platform so that they feel like they belong in the same universe. In addition to the logo, most requests require adding floating currency. Since most of our marketing request feature a skill game, we also take into consideration the game's colors, brand style, and tone.

Partners

WorldWinner works with multiple reward sites such as Inbox Dollars and MyPoints. Designs for partners often feature people of a variety of different ethnicities, backgrounds and gender. These assets also often feature seasonal themes with floating bonus bucks and different game pieces.

Social Media

WorldWinner uses Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to engage with players, promote their games, and announce new tournaments. Creatives for social media have to lean into being fun and playful but there are less limitations for design. For example, we create fun puzzles, announcements for giveaways, tips and tricks, funny jokes, or seasonal greetings to delight our players.

Game a Day Campaign: Players were given the opportunity to win $1,000! I was tasked with creating a new set of creatives to announce the daily winners for WorldWinner’s social platforms. One way I thought of new ideas was taking unique elements from the winner’s username. Switching up the font was also another way to reduce redundancy.

Puzzles: Since puzzles are the most successful activity to do on social media, there are a few different kinds that are enjoyable to create. There is the traditional missing puzzle piece, the slide puzzle game, and Name the Game puzzle. We often use puzzles to promote the games on WorldWinner and new campaigns in hopes to increase clicks.

Seasonal Greetings: Game taco has a cute taco mascot which the team often used to greet the players. These designs often correlate with a holiday or special occasion.

WorldWinner is thrilled to unveil an exciting rebrand that demonstrates the company’s commitment to competition, winning, and fun.

Embracing Simplicity: Clean Backgrounds that Elevates Skill Gaming
In embracing simplicity, we have opted for clean backgrounds that serve as the ideal canvas to showcase the remarkable games we feature. By doing so, we eliminate any potential distractions, allowing our players to fully immerse themselves in the beauty and excitement of each seasonal campaign.

Celebrating Diversity: Winning is for Everyone
Recognizing the immense value in embracing diverse perspectives, our rebrand places a stronger emphasis on featuring a broader range of voices and experiences. By amplifying the work of individuals from all walks of life, we strive to create a more inclusive platform that celebrates the richness of the human experience.

Bolder Typography: Amplifying Engegement
Typography plays a crucial role in the visual language of any brand, shaping its personality and impact. In our rebrand, we have adopted bolder typography, reflecting our renewed confidence and determination to get more people playing skill games.

Challenge

The challenge at hand is to continue revamping our brand's aesthetics and overall feel to exude a more premium aura that resonates with our target audience, thereby enhancing our competitive edge and fostering stronger customer loyalty.

Objective: Elevate the brand’s look & feel to feel more PREMIUM.

Solution

To maintain a consistent yet varied exclusive look and feel in our banner designs, we're leveraging new framing as a strategic tool. These blue frames serve as a framework that ensures coherence across all banners while allowing for flexibility and creativity. We are also stripping away distracting vector objects and instead are utilizing photography, simple patterns, and devices.
